Dear Susan,

I would like to thank you for being my mentor over these few years. I have learnt how to have confidence in myself and how to trust in the Lord. It was this verse you shared with me that impacted me deeply.

Proverbs 3: 5-6
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

During the period of discipleship with you, the one thing I really struggled is in the area of my finances. I could not be a faithful tither. I could only tithe as and when I had enough money as I was still heavily in debts.

But because of this verse that you shared with me, I began to tithe faithfully, trusting that my God will provide all my needs. Now my life is totally transformed! I am free from debt and am still a faithful tither.

Today, I am a confident person knowing who I am in Christ.
